Here is Mario in his casts. He was diagnosed with a very mild case of cerebral palsy after turning a year old, so his left side is pretty tight. Last month he received botox injections which will help with his tightness on his left side. I tell you its amazing what modern medicince can do now a days, he opens that left hand with so much ease now. The casts will help stretch out tight musclse and soft tissue of his legs. Mario is such a great baby, we love him so much. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect son.

Today was Dante and Journee's first day of school at Quest Academy. Changing schools has been a little hard on Dante, he is going to miss all his friends. Journee on the other hand is sooo exicted..It should be a good experience for both of them. Quest is a technology school and they will be doing alot of there school work on laptops. Dante's teacher said they will be doing alot of science this year which is right up his alley he loves science.

We took a family trip to Colorado to see my family last month. We had an awesome time,we stayed with my brother and sister-in law. The kids we so excited to see everyone especially their nana. The kids got to hang out with all there cousins which was nice to see. It was a great trip going and a great ride home:)

Dante went to robotics and rocket camp. The first couple of days he made a solar powered robot, then the last couple of days they built rockets..the highest went 450ft.

Mario is getting casted for some child leg braces, he only needs to wear them when he is standing..When he walks he walks on his tip toes, this will help him walk with his feet planted on the ground. He was such a good boy while he was getting casted, didn't mind it at all.

Its has been a long time since I have posted. The kids are out of school for the summer. Journee and the twins are playing t-ball, Dante is going to robotics camp. Journee had her end of the year program. Brian graduated with his Bachelors in Criminal Justice, he will start teaching at the end of June (part-time). The twins graduated from pre-school. Mario is doing awesome, getting better everyday.

Dante had a field trip to the enviromental center...We had a ball, he did the rock climbing, we both did cross country skiing.. We did some geo tracking in the woods with the snow which he thought was awesome.

The boy scouts celebrated there 100th birthday. Dante got to do the opening of the color guard! We had the boys make cars out of boxes, he chose to make a police car! Then they had them race them! Everyone had to make cakes.

Well,I haven't posted anything in awhile. Let's see where to start! Dante is doing great, still enjoying the boy scouts. Journee, having a ball in school. She had learned so much, its so weird to see her reading a book. The twins are having fun in preschool and are getting bigger everyday. Our little angel Mario is precious as always. He is growing fast, on Feb 11th he had surgery on his eyes, adnoeids and they put tubes in his ears. That was in experience for Brian and I, they kept him overnight for observation. Brian is doing well, he should be finished with his bachelors degree in June. He just got over strep throat. Well as for me, I am a leader for Dante's troop and I love it.

Mario has been doing awesome he now weighs 16lbs 5oz. He has therapy every two weeks, and he has been progressing very well. He finally said his first word which was DADA, Brian was thrilled, he has been talking up a storm. We almost have him sitting on his own, I think he will walk before he crawls. He has four teeth, two on top and two on the bottom.. He has been sick for about ten days now with a cough and runny nose so we have been going back and forth to the doctor. We are so lucky we couldn't have asked for such a great boy, even when he was teething we didn't know he never complained and when he is sick he is still happy!

Well, what can I say my little girls are getting older. Today we celebrated there fourth birthday, we had it at the bowling alley which was really fun. They invited some friends from school, Uncle John and Auntie Lorie were there and the Malay family and Nana got to celebrate with them. Everyone had a good time, they bowled played arcade games had pizza then birthday cake. Its funny a little boy in there pre-school(he is the teachers son) told her that he loves Stevee, and that when he gets older she needs to tell him were the ring store is, so he can buy her a ring. Her teacher says they sit by each other at snack time and play together.

Dante joined our local Boy Scout troop and is loving every minute of it. I didn't realize how many boys his aged lived around us. Yesterday he got his citizenship badge. I volunteer when I can, last week they went bowling to get there bowling badge it was so much fun all the boys are so nice.

The kids had a ball this Halloween, Dante and Journee had a party and parade at there school. The twins had there first pre-school halloween party they also had a parade. On Halloween we went to Uncle John and Aunt Lories house to go trick or treating. Our little Mario was a pumpkin.

Today is bittersweet but yet filled with so much joy. We get to celebrate Mario's first birthday. We went to the cemetery to wish Carla and Sebastian a happy birthday, we all had one pink and one blue balloon, the kids wanted to sing happy birthday and then we released them.

I can't believe our babies will be gone a year all ready on Monday. Mario will be one our little boy is something else, he is the happiest and best baby ever. It has been hard these last couple of months knowing there birthday was around the corner. On Saturday the 10th we are going on a walk with the group from Utah Share, The Walk to Remember is held in memory of all babies who are gone too soon. We walk in memory of the steps they will never take. On the 15th its remembrance day, if you could light a candle at 7:00 pm. They say that is the time everyone around the world does this

Grandpa and Grandma came back for another visit. The kids loved having them here, I know they didn't get much rest, the kids keep them busy. Dante learned some new things about clouds and the weather from Grandma (she used to be a weather lady). Grandpa had fun playing in the sprinklers with the kids. They got to go to Dante and Journees back to school night, which was nice for them to see. We all went boating and had a blast... WE MISS THEM, I know that a good time was had by all.. Can't wait for them to come back again:)

We went camping to Lava Springs in Idaho, we had such a blast. We took the kids tubing down the river they had so much fun, the only one who didn't go was Skye she stayed back at the trailer with Nana and Mario. We went out to the hot springs at night when it would get cooler they were awesome they ranged from 105 degrees to 112 degrees.
